Better late than never
March 3, 2010
Remember when I mentioned that I hated 2008 & 2009. This is one of the reasons, not being able to send Reiss to preschool. It still breaks my heart. I have worked with him but it's not the same. Well, finally things improved and he was able to attend Miss Sherrie's. He was so excited to go and made many strides.
Oh I love that red hair!

If you know Reiss you know that he ALWAYS played with my hair and still does. It drives me crazy. It's actually the reason I cut my hair off. When we saw Sloane grab her hair we had to take pictures and say a prayer that she wouldn't be obsessed with hair. ; )
Ahhh . . . she found it!

Sloane found her thumb! Love it or hate it I don't know. Neither of the boys sucked their thumbs. So we'll see if she sticks with it. I'm pretty sure that Nana is holding her.

Legos . . . the important things

So Caden LOVES Lego's. He is always creating something. This vehicle holds inside of it another Lego vehicle and a Lego boat. The way he builds with them is fascinating at his age. His mind is always coming up with amazing concepts and ideas. Can't wait to see what he does when he grows up!
Nice to meet you!
Reiss just always wants to hold her. He loves being a big brother! He's the best!
Jack was so excited to meet Sloane, he calls her baby girl like all of us. Its so cute!
Just taking a snooze! Isn't she perfect!
More lights

I swear the whole jaundice thing drives me crazy. Lights & heel pricks everyday for 5 days. I was so relieved that my Dr. finally said to just stop. Numbers weren't fantastic but everyday helps in this scenario. Its so hard to leave them in the bed when you want to snuggle with them. Not to mention the drafts . . . ugh. We also had a bili blanket that wrapped around her when we took her out, that's also what is laying across her in the above photo.
Leaving the hospital & coming home!

I took the blankets off of her to get her dressed and she just stretched and yawned!
Mom isn't looking to great . . . oh well!
All bundled up and ready to brave that Utah cold! Traci & I just found this hat a couple of weeks before. So glad to be taking her home!
Of course she had to be jaundice! I can't stand the bilirubin lights. Anyway, here is Sloane, getting some rays!
That adhesive things on her leg was a pain to get off. Thankfully my sweet neighbor works at my pediatrician's office and brought some adhesive removing wipes over so I could take it off.
