Scavenger Hunt!

We had a scavenger hunt for FHE this week. The boys were so excited to play. They have never been on one before so to keep their interest I had to tell them that at the end there is a big surprise or prize.

Yep, hard to believe there are 5 people in that photo.
They are pretty excited! Every morning since Caden keeps telling me how happy he is that we are having a baby. They put their hands on my tummy and "hug" their baby.
Scott & I are, well . . . . . . . excited too? Surprised at first, but we are happy about bringing another sweet little person into our family. I'm estimating that I'm due sometime in February.

If you're family and reading this don't be offended that we haven't called. We're still pretty shocked. I thought this would help me get over that factor.

Sibling Time

Caden's favorite uncle . . . and no I don't think it's just because he has a Wii.

Syd & Me
Chip & Aunt Libby

Ryan & her favorite Aunt!

My brother and his family came to visit from Louisiana. Whew, now that's a drive. We went bowling, picnicing and the night before they left we all went up the canyon.
I wish they didn't live so far. It was hard to visit mom this summer in Colorado and not be able to hang out with Angie! I just love sitting and visiting with her and eating her yummy meals!

We had such a great time with them. Thanks for making time for us on your long trip! I really do hope that we can make it down to visit you sometime soon, but when it is cooler weather.

The birthday party that wouldn't end

I think is was the day after or a few days after Reiss' party, these two little stinkers found the leftover party stuff. Well you know what that means, you have to have another party. So Jack and Reiss brought everything upstairs, set the table themselves and asked for snacks. I wonder if they were waiting for dates? They never invited Traci or I.

Silly boy, tired boy!

Reiss thought this was so funny, putting his clothes on the wrong way.

Reiss are you tired? No. Minutes later . . . just glad he didn't lay his head on the banana.

Meeker 4th of July

We were in Colorado for the 4th, so we decided to go to Meeker. Why? I don't know. The boys had a fun time there. We met up with some friends from mom's ward. After some rides and fattening food we headed back down to Battlement Mesa for some really yummy BBQ Ribeyes and fireworks.

Vernal visit

My parents moved from beautiful colorful Colorado to desert and sage Vernal, Utah. BUT . . . there are a few things there to do (not to mention a shorter drive). Like go to the Utah Field House of Natural History, which if you can guess was a huge hit with Reiss. Well the next biggie is the drive-in movies! Scott loaded them up and took them to see Night at the Museum. They thought that was pretty awesome to watch a movie outside and Scott loved it because it was only $6.00 for all of them and it double feature. The boys only lasted one movie though. So heres to more visits to Vernal?!

Lehi Children's Parade

Reiss was LOVING all the dinosaur floats.

I can't believe that this was our first time to go to the Lehi Round-Up Rodeo Children's Parade. I guess living out at the Ranches we always avoided the area. A friend invited us so we went. It was so fun and the floats were pretty good. The theme was "If I could I would . . . "

Birthday Boy, 4 years old!!!

Finally, a big boy bike!

Scott made this cardboard skeleton. The kids had to find the bones & put him together.

Reiss being shy!

We LOVE you T-Rex boy! We are so lucky to have you in our family. You bring so much happiness and laughter into our lives.
